Job summary

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join a Quality Improvement project focused on improving outcomes for children with speech, language and communication needs. The role spans Acute CAMHS, YJSN and MARRS, delivering assessments, intervention and professional training across Cornwall.

You will work with the Kernow and Isles of Scilly Keyworking Service (KIOSK), CAMHS Learning Disability Team and community SaLTs, with supervision

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy required.
• HCPC registration required.
• Evidence of post-graduate study and attending courses.

Responsibilities

• Attend and participate in team meetings.
• Support screening for SLCN.
• Provide specialist assessment, intervention and advice for children known to acute CAMHS and YJSN.
• Provide consultation to professionals.
• Provide training to professionals.
• Collaborate with community SaLT service and wider SaLT network.
