Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist to join CAMHS CLA (City) Looked After Children\'s Team at St Ann\'s Valley Centre, Nottingham. You will deliver specialist assessments and bespoke interventions to support children and young people with speech, language and communication needs within CAMHS.

Working within a trauma-informed multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to service development, CPD opportunities, and

Qualifications

• Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC registration
• Significant experience working with children and young people with SLCN, ideally in CAMHS, youth justice or social care
• Excellent clinical reasoning, advocacy, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to anti-racism, trauma-informed practice, and inclusive communication
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

• Carry out specialist speech and language therapy assessments.
• Deliver bespoke, evidence-based interventions and reports.
• Provide consultation, advice and training to the MDT and carers.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement.
