Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the UK is seeking a Principal/Associate Spatial Planner to join our planning team across the North, delivering strategic planning for major infrastructure and development projects in the North of England. You will lead policy development, engage stakeholders, prepare funding bids, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams within PECC and our Northern Transformation Programme.

A Chartered RTPI planner with project leadership experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Chartered member of the RTPI with a degree in Town Planning.
• Experience delivering strategic planning, policy development and evidence-based studies.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary projects and engage clients.

Responsibilities

• Carry out strategic planning and policy development for city regions in the North of England.
• Identify and pursue new business, prepare funding bids and support tender responses.
• Develop client networks and collaborate with AtkinsRéalis colleagues to win work.
• Coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders, including government bodies.
