Job summary

AtkinsRéalis UK is seeking an experienced Senior/Principal Town Planner to lead planning projects across the North of England, delivering major infrastructure and development work for a diverse client base.

You will act as Planning Lead on projects, drive bid submissions, mentor junior colleagues, and work with multi-disciplinary teams across environmental, engineering and design disciplines while supporting strategic planning and market growth.

Qualifications

• Relevant planning degree required with RTPI membership desirable.
• Experience leading planning projects across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Acting as Planning Lead on projects across a range of markets and sectors.
• Being actively involved in bid preparation, tender submissions and framework responses.
• Acting as lead consultant for multi-disciplinary projects and taking responsibility for project management and project delivery.
• Providing support to junior colleagues and the Planning team leaders.
• Engaging with market and client leads to support business growth and development opportunities.
