Job summary

Brat, an open-fire kitchen in London, is seeking an experienced Head Chef to uphold top standards of cooking, sourcing, and team leadership. You will support the Head Chef, drive delicious, consistent dishes, and mentor junior kitchen staff across a dynamic service environment.

You will lead tastings, trainings, and appraisals, fostering a culture of learning, growth, and collaboration while ensuring a 5-star EHO standard and strong financial performance.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a fast paced kitchen.
• Passion and knowledge of restaurants and sourcing.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to building a leading restaurant group.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef to create an efficient kitchen environment.
• Maintain highest standards of food prep and presentation.
• Lead regular tastings, trainings and briefings for junior teams.
• Participate in 121 meetings, appraisals and development plans.
• Collaborate with GM and Head Chef on talent development and succession planning.
• Monitor product quality and supplier relationships to ensure excellence.
