COREcruitment Ltd is partnering with one of London’s premium restaurant groups to recruit a Senior Sous Chef for a large, high-volume site in central London. The role sits at the heart of open-kitchen operations where everything is cooked fresh on site every day and where overtime is paid if required.

You will act as the reliable number two to the Head Chef, overseeing service for a 100+ seat dining room and a 60-seat private dining room, with a clear training path to Head Chef as new openings

Qualifications

• Senior Sous Chef experience in a high-volume, fresh-food kitchen.
• Confident running busy services solo.
• Strong on stock control, food safety and team development.
• A calm, hands-on leader.

Responsibilities

• Be the reliable number two to the Head Chef and run the kitchen in their absence.
• Lead service across a 100+ seat dining room and a 60-seat private dining room.
• Oversee prep, ordering and stock control.
• Train, mentor and develop the brigade.
• Keep food quality, hygiene and consistency tight.
