Qualifications

• 3 years experience in a busy kitchen environment.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Can work evenings and weekends.
• Up-to-date Level 2 Food Safety qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support the head chef in running the kitchen.
• Lead kitchen staff, set rota, and handle disciplinary/HR issues in the head chef's absence.
• Lead a team of chefs in cooking and preparing meals, including checking food quality.
• Train junior chefs and onboard new staff.
• Design or help create food and drink menus.
• Order supplies, negotiate with suppliers, and manage inventory.
