Qualifications

• have 6 months experience as a commis chef in a busy restaurant
• have a food hygiene certificate
• be flexible-able to work across a 7 day week
• good communication skills
• ability to follow instructions
• must have the right to work in UK
• Must be able to converse in English

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food, quickly and efficiently, meeting company standards.
• Assist in keeping the kitchen clean, hygienic, and tidy, at all times.
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and monitor and deal with any maintenance issues.
• Manage food wastage through correct procedures.
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training.
• Always adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Be involved and contribute at team meetings.
• Carry out instructions given by the management team.
