Senior Sous Chef, Malmaison

At Malmaison, fifty percent of all revenue comes from catering sales. In many of our hotels, we can be busier in our brasseries than most local restaurants! This provides our chef brigades with great opportunities to develop their skills within our kitchens—learning new techniques, working in fast-paced environments under pressure, and sometimes handling produce they've not worked with before.

We offer on-the-job training in-house, as well as nationally recognized apprenticeships through our training providers. If you want to advance your career, a MAL kitchen is the place to do it. Four of our Head Chefs have been promoted from within, with two starting as kitchen porters.

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef by ensuring the team delivers brand standards smoothly and consistently. Ideally, you will have experience at this level and be able to demonstrate your skills in developing your team.
