Loungers plc is hiring a full-time Sous Chef for Vicolo Lounge, a local café bar. You’ll lead the kitchen, support the Head Chef, and guide the team to deliver consistently superb dishes.

The role offers a 48-hour contract (40-hour option), overtime pay, achievable bonus, and real progression opportunities across a growing hospitality brand. Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef, or Chef de Partie ready for next step.
• Ability to lead kitchen shifts from prep to final plate.
• Sets high standards on the pass, quality, pace and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts with confidence, ensuring service is smooth and on spec.
• Support the Head Chef and step in during absences to uphold strong results.
• Maintain high standards on the pass for quality, pace, cleanliness and safety.
• Oversee prep, par, stock, waste, orders and handovers during shifts.
• Coach and develop team members to deliver great dishes each shift.
