Job summary

LGH Hotels Management Limited is seeking a talented Senior Sous Chef to join the culinary team and deliver consistently high-quality food across the hotel. You will work closely with the Head Chef to lead the kitchen, uphold quality and presentation, and ensure smooth operations, including during the Head Chef's absence.

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will help manage day-to-day kitchen operations, support menu delivery, control food costs, and coach the team to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• Has experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef de Partie.
• Enjoys leading and supporting a busy kitchen team.
• Takes pride in food quality, consistency and presentation.
• Works calmly and confidently under pressure.
• Has solid understanding of food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards.
• Leads by example and supports development of others.
• Is organized, reliable and commercially aware.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Cover the Head Chef when absent.
• Oversee food preparation to ensure high standards.
• Follow standard recipes and manage food cost.
• Lead and support the kitchen team during service.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and H&S standards.
• Create a calm, organized and professional kitchen.
