Job summary

Harbour Hotels is seeking a passionate Senior Sous Chef to lead our busy kitchen and deliver exceptional dishes using fresh ingredients. You will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee daily operations, inspire the team, and maintain top quality, presentation and costs.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience at Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef level.
• Experience in high-volume, quality-focused kitchens.
• Strong leadership and ability to run kitchen in Head Chef's absence.
• Passion for fresh ingredients and presenting quality dishes.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and service.
• Lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team.
• Run the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
• Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation and consistency.
• Monitor food costs, stock control and wastage to meet financial targets.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
• Assist with menu development and bring fresh ideas.
• Support training and development of junior chefs.
