Job summary

Molo Lounge, part of Loungers, is hiring a full-time Sous Chef to join the kitchen team. You will lead shifts, support the Head Chef, and ensure every dish leaving the pass is of high quality.

The role offers a 48-hour contract with a 40-hour option, plus overtime and a clear path for progression. Qualifications

• Experienced in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to lead kitchen shifts and manage a team.
• Strong emphasis on food quality, hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts with confidence, ensuring smooth service from prep to final plate.
• Support Head Chef and step in when needed to deliver consistently strong results.
• Set high standards on the pass for food quality, pace, cleanliness and safety.
• Own key kitchen routines: prep, par, stock control, waste, orders and handovers.
• Coach and develop team members to raise skills and performance.
