Job summary

Loungers plc is seeking a committed Sous Chef to join the Molo Lounge kitchen team on a full-time basis. You will lead shifts, support the Head Chef, and ensure every plate meets our standards in a high-volume environment.

This role offers a competitive base salary with bonus and overtime, a 48-hour contract (40-hour option), and real progression through in-house training and development programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef or equivalent.
• Proven ability to lead a kitchen team.
• Commitment to high standards of food quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts with confidence, ensuring smooth service from prep to final plate.
• Support Head Chef and step up in their absence.
• Set high standards on the pass for quality, pace, hygiene and safety.
• Manage prep, par, stock, waste, and shift handovers.
• Coach and develop chefs to improve skills and performance.
