Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The Role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspiring leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team to achieve their best, while driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

What You Bring:

  • Focus on creating a caring, listening environment that celebrates successes and nurtures talent, role modeling a coaching culture.
  • Dedication to delivering an exceptional guest experience, ensuring dishes meet high standards and your team is well-equipped.
  • Experience in maintaining high standards of food, health, and safety, with an understanding of kitchen financials including gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.
  • Ability to foster a coaching culture, working with the Head Chef on recruitment and development, and supporting personal and professional growth.
  • A proactive problem solver, capable of quick decision-making.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Leadership experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a caring approach.
  • Experience in kitchen safety standards, financial management, and labour control.
  • Ability to inspire and engage your team, creating an inclusive and respectful environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability.
