As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspiring leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team, driving restaurant performance and delivering exceptional results.
We are looking for someone who |
- Creates a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent, role-modeling a coaching culture.
- Ensures an excellent guest experience, with dishes prepared to high standards, and equips the team with necessary skills and mindset.
- Maintains high standards in food safety, health, and safety, and understands kitchen financials including gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
- Builds a coaching culture within the team, working with the Head Chef on recruitment and development, and fostering personal and professional growth.
- Is a proactive problem solver, able to make quick decisions and think on their feet.
What we look for |
- Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef, driving performance in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with genuine conversations that make the team feel supported.
- Proven experience in maintaining high standards in food safety and health standards.
- Understanding of kitchen financials, including gross profit and stock control.
- Experience managing labor costs and adapting to changing demands.
- Leadership qualities that inspire and engage the team, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected and they belong.
- A forward-thinking problem solver who can make quick decisions.
