Senior Sous Chef | Full-time

The role |

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support ongoing coaching and development of your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and delivering outstanding results.

  • Focus on creating a positive environment where your team feels cared for and listened to, celebrating successes, and nurturing talent within your team, role-modeling a coaching culture.
  • Are dedicated to ensuring an excellent guest experience, with every dish prepared to exceptional standards, either through your efforts or by empowering your team with the necessary skills and mindset.
  • Have experience in maintaining high standards for food, health, and safety, understanding financial aspects such as gross profit, stock control, and labor costs, and proactively spotting opportunities.
  • Are committed to building a coaching culture within your team, working closely with your head chef on recruitment and ongoing development, fostering personal and professional growth.
  • Are a forward-thinking problem solver, capable of quick decision-making and thinking on your feet.

  • Proven experience in maintaining high standards for food, health, and safety.
  • Understanding of kitchen financials, including gross profit and stock management.
  • Ability to manage labor costs effectively, reacting to changing demands.

  • Problem-solving skills, able to think quickly and adapt to challenges.
