Job summary

The Mallard in Tidbury Green, part of Brunning and Price Pubs Ltd, is seeking a Senior Sous Chef to help shape the kitchen from opening this Autumn 2026. You will work closely with the Head Chef to drive menu direction, quality and guest experience in a pub setting.

Joining a growing family of 79 pubs, you’ll benefit from strong earning potential with a basic salary up to £37,000 plus tronc, a £2,000 OTE bonus, paid overtime and generous staff perks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in catering and hospitality at senior sous/sous-chef level is essential.

• Run the kitchen alongside the Head Chef, driving the food culture.
• Lead and develop the kitchen team to deliver exciting new dishes.

About You

Previous experience in catering and hospitality in a restaurant, gastro pub or hotel at senior sous, sous or kitchen manager level is essential, as well as a positive attitude. Working alongside the Head Chef you’ll be responsible for running the kitchen, driving the food culture and keeping your team and our customers engaged with exciting new dishes.
