The Orange Tree in Congleton, part of Parogon Group, is seeking a Senior Sous Chef to lead the kitchen alongside the Head Chef. You’ll bridge between the Head Chef and brigade, delivering high-quality dishes and maintaining fast, guest-focused service.

This full-time role is 44 hours per week with a clear path to Head Chef and a total package of up to £43,690 per year, including a KPI-based bonus and service charge.

Ready for the step before Head Chef? We're on the hunt for an awesome Senior Sous Chef to help us take off at The Orange Tree, Congleton! The Orange Tree in Congleton is our family-friendly bar & grill - sharing plates, burgers, steaks and cocktails, with a warm Orange Tree welcome for families, date nights and groups. Our grill kitchen serves sharing plates, burgers, steaks and weekend breakfasts - fast-paced and full of flavour.

Here's What We Offer

• Up to £15.23 per hour (Approx. £2,680 every 4-weeks or £34,830 pa)
• Bonus of up to £2,000 a year - based on KPIs that are achievable and impactful
• Shared Service charge (Avg. £6,860 pa)
• Total Potential Package = £43,690 per year
• Full time - 44 hours a week
• A clear path to Head Chef

The role

As a vital piece of our kitchen leadership team, you'll work closely with your Head Chef and General Manager - running the kitchen when your Head Chef is off, developing the brigade and delivering food that keeps our guests coming back for more.
