Job summary

Mount Royal Hotel Edinburgh by the Unlimited Collection is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our dynamic team and contribute to our renowned dining experience.

You will report to the Head Chef, responsible for the smooth running of your designated section in the Kitchen, ensuring all food service areas achieve a consistently high standard of food presentation suitable to an ambitious 4‑star Hotel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a 2-AA Rosette location.
• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant.
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and trends.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
