Qualifications

• 7+ years in pre-sales Solution Engineering or equivalent at SaaS/Open-source/Enterprise Software
• Experience with Open-source technology
• Foundational knowledge of API Management, Cloud trends, Open-source business models
• Confident presenting to C-level execs, Product Managers, and Engineers
• Enthusiasm for fast-paced startup culture

Responsibilities

• Support field sales to convey value of Kong API Management & Connectivity solutions
• Grow trusted client relationships across the full sales cycle from discovery to production
• Support PoCs throughout evaluation process
• Onboard and train new customers and establish revenue with existing ones
• Coordinate with support, product and engineering to prioritize customer needs & ensure satisfaction
• Create technical documentation for DevOps, implementations, and services engagements
• Participate in lead generation activities like blogs, webinars, events
