Job summary

Salesforce is seeking Solution Engineers (f/m/d) to partner with the sales team, own discovery, solution design, and technical validation. Travel up to 50% and collaborate with teams worldwide to implement Contentful-powered solutions.

You will work with Account Executives for DACH customers, create product demos, evaluate requirements, and help customers compare Contentful with legacy systems while ensuring successful launches.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and German required.
• 3–5 years in Sales/Solution Engineer/Architect or 5–10 years as a developer in digital experience delivery.
• Strong presentation skills to convey business and technical knowledge to marketing and technical personas.
• High emotional intelligence for meetings with multiple stakeholders with varying engagement.
• Curiosity for how technology drives change and business value.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to support DACH customers.
• Assist sales in helping prospects understand Contentful vs legacy technologies.
• Understand prospects' project requirements and validate against platform, identify risks.
• Create product demonstrations and assist with technical evaluations.
• Convey needs and product feedback to product management, marketing, and sales.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Customer Success to launch projects.
