Blair West are supporting a global leader in revenue management solutions for the consumer goods industry, to find a Senior Solutions Engineer. This is a newly created position due to the business's rapid growth and increasing enterprise demand. The role sits within the go-to-market team, working closely cross-functionally to secure strategic enterprise wins.

The opportunity:

  • Partner with enterprise sales leads to secure high-value deals across our client’s platform.
  • Own and deliver the full technical pre-sales process, from discovery sessions to executive-level solution presentations.
  • Run tailored proof-of-value engagements that clearly demonstrate capabilities and business impact.
  • Translate complex business needs into compelling, value-led solution proposals.
  • Remove technical barriers by addressing integration, analytics, and data-related challenges during the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Professional Services to ensure seamless transitions post-sale.
  • Represent our client at industry conferences and client-facing events.
  • Contribute to the ongoing optimisation of pre-sales strategy and processes.

You'll be the ideal candidate for this position if you're someone who has:

  • A proven track record influencing the closure of 6- and 7-figure enterprise SaaS deals.
  • Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) or similar enterprise environments.
  • Technical expertise across data architecture, analytics platforms, and cloud services such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or Data Lakes.
  • A consultative approach, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders up to C-suite level.
  • Strong pre-sales experience, including workshops, technical discovery, and solution design.
  • The ability to simplify complex technical topics and communicate them with clarity and impact.
  • A collaborative, cross-functional mindset and the agility to thrive in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
  • A background in software development or data engineering is advantageous.
  • A relevant degree or equivalent industry experience.
