Job summary

NEC Software Solutions is seeking a senior solution architect/lead for NEC Housing Solution projects in the UK, with remote or hybrid working in line with policy. You will own end-to-end delivery, align cross‑module configurations, and translate complex policies into robust system behaviours while guiding customers through design decisions.

Ideal candidates will have consultancy experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects within housing environments.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of NEC Housing Solution and related module implementation.
• Experience with housing environments (Local Authority Housing, ALMOs, Housing Associations).
• Consultancy background with customer interaction and project methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ownership of design decisions and ability to lead in demanding circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for the full solution specific to the customer.
• Understand how all parts of the system work together.
• Ensure decisions in one area do not cause problems elsewhere.
• Take responsibility for overall solution coherence.
• Make and own design decisions.
• Be the accountable owner for cross‑module decisions.
• Resolve conflicts between teams, modules, or requirements.
• Make clear recommendations and own outcomes.
• Ensure consistency across modules.
• Check system parts are configured consistently.
• Identify and address issues early before they escalate.
• Translate business policy into system behaviour with customers.
• Lead conversations with customers and translate needs clearly.
• Assure delivery quality with end-to-end testing focus.
• Decide readiness for go-live with project teams.
