Job summary

The AA in Oldbury is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead architecture across major transformation programmes. You’ll own solution direction from discovery through delivery, turning complex requirements into scalable, secure designs, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration within the wider tech landscape.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect in large, complex transformation programmes.
• Strong MS Dynamics 365 architecture experience and integration with wider enterprise platforms.
• End-to-end solution design capability across applications, data, security, resilience and nonfunctional requirements.
• Experience producing Solution Options Papers and High-Level Designs with clear recommendations.
• Experience navigating formal architecture governance in Agile or product-led delivery.
• Excellent senior stakeholder influencing skills, able to operate autonomously and communicate complex architecture clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end solution architecture for large, complex transformation initiatives, from discovery through governance, engineering handover and delivery.
• Architect solutions involving Microsoft Dynamics 365, ensuring integration with enterprise applications, data platforms and legacy systems.
• Translate business capabilities into coherent architectures spanning applications, integration, data, security and operational considerations.
• Produce Solution Options Papers and High-Level Designs, evaluating trade-offs and setting architectural direction.
• Lead solutions through architecture governance, including design reviews and ADRs, with clear decisions and actions.
• Partner with Product, Engineering and Delivery teams during Agile transformation, providing handover into detailed design and resolving architectural issues.
