Job summary

Humanoid in London is seeking a Software Test Engineer to own the quality of the software that surrounds our humanoid platform, including the console, inference servers, and backend services. You will test APIs, web UIs, and distributed services, collaborating with backend engineers, frontend developers, and the ML platform team.

This software-first role emphasizes test design, automation in Python, and CI/CD integration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in software testing for client-server systems (front-end, back-end, APIs).
• Strong grasp of testing theory and design techniques.
• Hands-on Python for test automation; familiarity with API testing frameworks.
• Experience with Linux and Git; CI/CD familiarity; test tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality of console, APIs, and backend services across the platform.
• Design and implement automated test suites; expand coverage via CI/CD.
• Validate latency, throughput, failover, and model-serving infra.
• Work with backend/frontend/ML teams and maintain test documentation.
• Define quality criteria, metrics, and contribute to testing strategy.
