Candidates can be based anywhere in the UK as long as they are comfortable working remotely.

Areti Group has partnered with a rapidly growing fintech company based in London, building a greenfield team and hiring up to 40 Software Engineers experienced with highly scalable microservice architectures, by the end of the year.

We are seeking Software Tech Leads/Staff Engineers to provide technical control and direction across multiple software teams.

This role is fully remote, offering a choice of laptop and tech equipment to support your best work.

As a software team lead/staff engineer, you should demonstrate a passion for self-development and your craft.

The role involves:

• Building new features using PHP, React Native, React, Golang
• Making architectural decisions to advance the platform
• Supporting software engineers on key projects
• Supporting product and delivery teams
• Mentoring and coaching team members
• Leading from the front as an inspirational leader making strategic decisions

Requirements include:

• Experience as a hands-on staff engineer or technical lead
• 4+ years in PHP, React Native, React, or Golang
• Experience leading multiple software projects
• Knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure
• Understanding of web security standards like OWASP
• Experience building microservices and APIs
• Knowledge of event-driven design complexities
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
