Job summary

Budibase is hiring Senior Software Engineers to help build the next generation of our open-source platform. You’ll join one of our product engineering teams, own substantial parts of Budibase, and drive complex problems from concept to production.

You’ll work across app-building, automation, AI agents, and integrations, with a small, experienced team. This role offers full remote work with regular company get-togethers and an optional 4-day work week.

Qualifications

• Significant professional software engineering experience.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals.
• Comfortable working across frontend and backend.
• Owned substantial product or technical work from problem to production.
• Ability to work effectively with ambiguity and make sound technical decisions.
• Care about usability, reliability, maintainability, and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Own substantial parts of Budibase, taking ideas to production.
• Build and evolve the app-building experience.
• Develop workflow and automation capabilities.
• Build AI agents that use tools, data, and automations.
• Design and build integrations with external systems and APIs.
• Improve performance, reliability, security, and permissions.
• Collaborate with product, design, and other engineers to decide what and how to build.
