Job summary

Budibase, Inc. is seeking a Customer Support Engineer to assist customers via email, chat, and video calls. This is a technical role, requiring a background in software engineering, IT, technical support, or similar hands-on work.

You will help users navigate Budibase, propose solutions, document issues, and even build small apps, agents, and automations for customers. Flexible work options include remote, Belfast office, or a hybrid approach.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
• Confidence learning and working with new technologies.
• Knowledge of core programming concepts and data structures.
• Background in software engineering, IT, technical support, or comparable technical work.
• Experience working with databases or REST APIs.
• Experience with Budibase or another low-code platform.
• Experience building AI agents or automations.
• Flexible working: remote, Belfast office, or hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Answer product questions through email, GitHub Discussions, and occasional video calls.
• Help customers follow best practices when using Budibase.
• Improve and update our documentation as we release new features.
• Investigate product issues and work with the product team to resolve them.
• Share customer pain points, feedback, and feature requests with the product team.
• Build apps, agents, and automations for customers.
• Make small product improvements where appropriate, (NodeJS/Typescript, Svelte)
