Job summary

Budibase is hiring Software Engineers to help build the next generation of our open-source platform. You’ll work across Apps, Automations, Agents, or our core Platform and ship meaningful product work with ownership in a small, experienced team.

This role is fully remote with regular company get-togethers, and there is an optional 4-day work week. Budibase offers a salary range of £45k–£60k plus stock options and 24 months runway towards profitability.

Qualifications

• Have professional software engineering experience.
• Have strong JavaScript or TypeScript fundamentals.
• Are comfortable working across frontend and backend.
• Have shipped real product features to users.
• Care about usability and product quality.
• Can take a problem and work through it to production.
• Use AI coding tools and are curious about how AI is changing software development.
• Enjoy learning and working across different parts of a codebase.
• Communicate clearly and work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve the app-building experience.
• Develop workflow and automation capabilities.
• Build AI agents that can use tools, data, and automations.
• Create integrations with external systems and APIs.
• Improve performance, reliability, security, and permissions.
