Job summary

Anson McCade in London is partnering with a growing technology consultancy delivering secure software solutions for government and enterprise programmes. The role is for a hands-on Software Engineer to tackle complex technical challenges across the full software development lifecycle in an agile team.

You will design and build cloud-native Java applications, contribute to large-scale digital transformation, and deploy to AWS and Azure, while collaborating with architects and clients to optimise

Qualifications

• Strong Java development experience.
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies.
• Experience in Agile development environments.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices and modern delivery.
• SC Clearance is desirable or clearable candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and enhance modern software solutions using Java and cloud technologies.
• Work across the full SDLC from design to deployment and support.
• Develop scalable applications using modern engineering principles.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and support automated testing.
• Deploy solutions into AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Collaborate with clients, architects and engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges.
