Applicants must undergo Security Clearance, requiring 5+ years of UK residence with no extended absences. You will develop modular services using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-based platforms, while contributing to a modern, Agile‑driven engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Java development with Spring Boot in enterprise environments.
• Experience building modular microservices and secure cloud solutions.
• Knowledge of WebLogic Server and middleware is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop modular, scalable services using Java (JDK 11+) and Spring Boot.
• Build and integrate enterprise apps with WebLogic Server and CAS SDK.
• Develop secure, cloud-based solutions on AWS and containerised environments.
• Contribute to microservices architecture and end-to-end system integration.
• Champion TDD, CI/CD, continuous testing and coding standards.
• Support automated functional and non-functional testing.
• Work in Scrum/Agile, with planning, refinement, reviews and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with technical leads, infrastructure teams and test automation engineers.
• Ensure experience aligns with security clearance requirements.
