Job summary

Anson McCade is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer for a hybrid role in Manchester or London. You will design, build and maintain modern AWS-based applications, owning the full lifecycle within an autonomous DevOps team and collaborating with software and cloud engineers on complex National Security projects.

The role offers hands-on AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices, with opportunities for technical training, career progression, and exposure to high-impact National

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS cloud, DevOps, Platform and SRE practices.
• Security clearance required (SC or DV encouraged).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain modern AWS-based applications and services.
• Take ownership across the full lifecycle in an autonomous DevOps team.
• Collaborate with software and cloud engineers to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
