Job summary

Anson McCade is representing a leading UK technology and software consultancy seeking a Senior Java / Full Stack Engineer to join a Central Government delivery team in a hybrid, permanent role.

You will design, develop and test software, build CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, work with AWS/Azure, and engage with customers and stakeholders while taking technical leadership where appropriate; eligibility for UK security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Senior engineer with strong commercial experience in Java and React.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience delivering full-stack solutions in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test high-quality software across the full stack.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) and cloud deployments.
• Work with AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Contribute across the full software lifecycle from requirements to deployment and support.
• Collaborate with customers and technical stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership where appropriate.
