Job summary

Synthires is seeking experienced Software Engineers to support an AI training project focused on creating realistic coding tasks and reliable evaluation systems. You’ll apply software engineering expertise to help AI systems improve their ability to solve real-world programming problems.

No prior AI experience is required — your software engineering skills are what matter. The role offers approximately 15 hours per week with a flexible schedule and a path to contribute to a high-impact training

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable services and APIs.
• Strong debugging, performance optimization, and testing skills.
• Solid code review and software engineering judgment.
• Familiarity with testing strategies and flaky tests is valued.
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.

Responsibilities

• Create realistic and challenging coding tasks.
• Implement deterministic verifiers for solutions.
• Debug, test, optimize, and refactor codebases.
• Design and maintain automated tests and testing strategies.
