Job summary

Askable is seeking experienced software engineers to create AI coding tasks from familiar codebases. You will translate real repository changes into tasks that challenge AI models while remaining fair for skilled engineers.

Tasks are remote and paid at £750 per task that passes quality review. Candidates should commit to at least 10 hours per week, with flexibility to take on more tasks as they’re accepted.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficient in at least one key language: Python, TypeScript, Go, Rust, Java or C++.
• Strong in Docker, Linux, Git and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Create AI coding tasks from a codebase you know well and ensure task quality.
• Review and refine tasks through the platform workflow, including proposals and grading checks.
• Help train and evaluate AI models by providing robust tasks and rubrics.
