Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy is seeking a Senior Social Worker for our Birmingham Child Protection Team. You will lead assessments, coordinate tailored intervention plans, and work with multi-agency partners to safeguard children.

The ideal candidate will have a recognized social work qualification, registration with Social Work England, and extensive experience in child protection. Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Current registration with Social Work England.
• Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and a commitment to professional development.

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored intervention plans.
• Providing supervision and support to junior social workers and team members.
• Engaging with families, children, and other stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
• Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements.
• Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.
