Qualifications

• Qualified social worker with BA/MA in Social Work and registered with Social Work England.
• Extensive experience in child protection and safeguarding.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and develop care plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough assessments and developing care plans for children and families.
• Managing a caseload of complex child protection cases with a focus on safeguarding.
• Providing supervision and support to less experienced social workers and students.
• Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a coordinated approach to child welfare.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with local authority policies.
