Join us at Birmingham Children’s Trust as a Senior Social Worker - Adoption Recruitment and Assessment.
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Social Worker to undertake recruitment activities, conduct adoption assessments, and provide support to prospective adoptive families. You will also have opportunities to co-deliver initiatives promoting therapeutic parenting skills, Stay and Play sessions, and themed workshops in partnership with adopter co-trainers.
We work with care and compassion, listening to and involving children and young people in decisions affecting them. We foster collaboration with schools, health professionals, and the police to create a supportive network. Our unified approach ensures children in Birmingham have the best opportunities for growth and development.
We are committed to safeguarding children and young people. All roles require appropriate DBS checks, and having a criminal record does not necessarily disqualify you. The level of check depends on the role’s responsibilities.
