The Vacancy

We are hiring Children’s Social Workers for our Private and/or Public Law teams.

As a Family Court Adviser, you will work with cases where families need assistance to agree on child welfare and safety arrangements or where the local authority involves Cafcass due to serious concerns.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct assessments and directly engage with children to understand and represent their views in court.
  • Apply risk assessment and mediation skills to advocate for children’s best interests.

Who we’re looking for

  • Registered with Social Work England
  • At least 3 years’ experience with children and families in social work
  • Experience with Family Court proceedings and Private/Public Law is advantageous
  • Organised, resilient, able to work independently and manage workload effectively

Location

Our teams work flexibly and remotely. Proximity to Bristol, Swindon, Reading, or Oxford is not required. We are open to discussing your preferred working arrangements during the interview.
