Job summary

The role of Adult Advanced Social Care Practitioner in Nottingham involves providing professional supervision and leadership to staff, coordinating assessments, and promoting strength-based, rights-based practice to enable individuals to manage their own needs and risks.

You will work with the manager and multi-agency teams, support professional development, supervise casework, manage workload, and ensure safeguarding and statutory requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Social Work qualification recognised by Social Work England.
• Registered with the Social Work England.
• AMHP or BIA or CPD Best Interests Assessor or related postgraduate study is essential.
• Knowledge and experience of safeguarding adults and multi-agency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional supervision and mentoring to social care staff.
• Lead on risk enablement, safeguarding, and MCA compliance.
• Undertake AMHP or BIA responsibilities where appropriate.
• Plan and prioritise workload; manage and allocate cases effectively.
• Prepare clear reports and chair meetings; liaise with partners.
