Job summary

Nottingham City Council is seeking experienced Advanced Social Work Practitioners to join our Locality teams on a permanent, hybrid basis. You will hold a caseload of complex children and family work, delivering high-quality, relationship-based social work and providing practice leadership to colleagues.

You'll combine direct work with children and families with coaching and supervision to support less experienced staff, contribute to safeguarding and risk assessment, and help drive positive

Qualifications

• Qualified social worker with Social Work England registration.
• Significant post-qualification experience with children, young people and families.
• Strong safeguarding, assessment and risk management skills.
• Experience of Child Protection, Children in Need and Care Proceedings.
• Ability to coach, mentor and support colleagues.
• Confidence in complex decision making and multi-agency working.
• Commitment to achieving best outcomes for children and families.
