Nottingham City Council is seeking experienced social workers to join our Locality team as Advanced Social Work Practitioners. You’ll combine direct work with children and families with a practice leadership role, holding a caseload of complex cases and mentoring colleagues to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• A recognised social work qualification and Social Work England registration.
• Significant post-qualification experience with children, young people and families.
• Strong safeguarding, assessment and risk management skills.
• Experience of Child Protection, Children in Need and Care Proceedings work.
• Ability to coach, mentor and support colleagues.
• Confidence in complex decision making and multi-agency working.
• Commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children and families.
