Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is recruiting for an Adults Advanced Social Worker Practitioner in Nottingham for a 14-week locum engagement. The role features supervision of staff, leadership on complex cases, and safeguarding responsibilities at an advanced practitioner level.

Qualifications

Experience supervising and mentoring social work staff.
Knowledge of Mental Capacity Act and Mental Health Act.
Experience leading on complex practice and safeguarding responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Provide supervision and mentorship to social work staff, supporting professional development.
Lead on complex practice, promoting high standards and evidence-based approaches.
Manage a reduced specialist caseload, focusing on complex and high-impact cases.
Undertake and support safeguarding responsibilities, ensuring appropriate action is taken to protect adults at risk.
Apply the Mental Capacity Act and Mental Health Act effectively within your practice.
Support the team with risk enablement strategies, promoting strengths-based social work.
Contribute advanced practice knowledge to support positive outcomes for adults and the wider team.
