Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group in the UK seeks a senior banking leader to head the Black Country and Shropshire Trading Team. You will oversee a diverse portfolio of Trading and Agricultural clients, guiding strategy and client engagements across the region.

Lead and develop Relationship Directors and Managers, ensuring risk and governance standards, and collaborating with senior stakeholders to drive income and client satisfaction in a flexible hybrid pattern.

Qualifications

• Proven SME or commercial banking leader
• Strong track record of managing a mature client book and driving income
• Experience leading Relationship Director and Relationship Manager teams
• Experience managing senior client relationships at senior leader level
• Expertise in credit, risk and trading, including complex client structures
• Strong understanding of governance and risk in a regulated environment

Responsibilities

• Contribute to strategic leadership and planning of the Sector with the Regional Director for Midlands & East
• Motivate, develop, mentor and appraise team members to deliver stretching business goals
• Develop the capability of the Relationship team and run local business plans and client portfolio with policy compliance
• Provide oversight to client proposals to meet customer requirements and identify opportunities
• Regularly evaluate team performance against objectives and supervise regulated products
• Support relation management of clients and introducers across segments, engaging with MDs/FDs/Boards
• Promote the bank's image to develop new business opportunities
