Job summary

Mildmay Mission Hospital is seeking a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist for a part-time role in a specialist Multidisciplinary Rehabilitation setting focused on HIV-related conditions and complex care in London. The role requires highly specialist input, assessment, treatment, and supervision of SLT students, with responsibilities across MDT planning, audits, and research.

Qualifications

• Essential post-registration experience and competencies.
• Ability to manage highly complex cases with clinical judgement.
• Evidence of CPD and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly specialist assessment, advice and treatment for communication/swallowing disorders.
• Provide clinical leadership to SLT students and junior/senior staff.
• Lead on MDT activities and contribute to MDT goal setting.
• Complete audits, research, and data collection (iCARE/UK-ROC).
• Educate and supervise staff and students; promote best practice.
