Job summary

NHS Jobs is seeking a Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist (Band 7 equivalent) with a degree in Speech and Language Therapy, HCPC registration and RCSLT membership. You will assess and manage complex neurology and neurodegenerative conditions, and apply Positive Behaviour Support with person-centred planning.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent)
• Registration with HCPC
• Membership of the RCSLT
• Competency to independently assess and manage EDS needs (training offered if required)
• Experience in neurology/neurodegenerative conditions evidenced by high level clinical SLT knowledge
• Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support with person-centred planning
• Strong team player with genuine desire to help others
• Excellent communication and time management skills
