About:

My client, a leading Main Contractor based in London, currently has several exciting new projects. They are seeking a Senior Site Manager to oversee one of their recently awarded projects.

The company is in a strong position, experiencing growth due to recent project wins. They are privately owned and highly respected, working across sectors including Commercial, Residential, Fit Out, Heritage, Data Centres, and Industrial. They prioritize collaboration and building strong relationships with clients and professional teams to maintain high standards and quality.

The Role:

As Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for the successful on-site delivery of a range of projects including Refurbishment, Cut & Carve, and Cat A and Cat B fit-outs. Reporting to a Project Manager, you will lead site teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily site operations from pre-start to handover.
2. Manage health & safety on site, ensuring compliance with all standards.
3. Coordinate and monitor subcontractor performance.
4. Maintain quality control procedures.
5. Collaborate with commercial and design teams to resolve issues and meet project goals.
6. Lead site progress meetings and reporting.

Required Skills & Experience:

1. Proven track record delivering high-value commercial or fit-out projects within a Tier 1 Main Contractor.
2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction management.
3. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
