Job summary

SSA Recruitment are recruiting a Senior Engineer/Agent for a leading Civil Engineering & Utilities contractor working on major Water projects across their Thames Water framework, including clean and wastewater treatment, pumping station upgrades and other civils schemes.

You will manage day-to-day site operations, ensure safety and adherence to budget and schedule, coordinate with internal teams, manage plant, materials and labour, liaise with subcontractors, lead site meetings and contribute to

Qualifications

• Experience as an Engineer within Civil Engineering, Utilities, or related discipline.
• SMSTS certification required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations.
• Ensure construction meets health & safety standards, budget, and timeline.
• Liaise with internal teams to plan and programme works.
• Manage plant, materials and site labour.
• Liaise with subcontractors and manage relations.
• Lead site meetings covering resources, timelines and budgets.
• Contribute to work planning and briefing of project teams, contractors and suppliers.
