Job summary

RTL Group Ltd. is seeking a Senior Site Engineer to lead the technical delivery of water treatment and civil works.

The role involves overseeing day-to-day engineering activities, reviewing drawings, and coordinating with design teams to ensure safety, programme adherence, and quality. The successful candidate will have proven senior‑level experience in water/utility projects, strong structural knowledge, and a solid background in CAD and QA processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Engineer on water, utilities, or heavy civil projects.
• Strong background in structures, reinforced concrete, pipelines, and water treatment infrastructure.
• Good knowledge of ASP, FSP, and Structures.
• Confident ability to navigate and interpret CAD drawings.
• Good understanding of QA procedures, programme management, and construction delivery processes.
• Relevant engineering qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing drawings and specifications and resolving technical queries with the design team.
• Interpreting CAD drawings.

• Providing technical input into RAMS and construction methodologies.

The Role

As a Senior Engineer, you will take responsibility for the successful technical delivery of water treatment and associated civil engineering works, overseeing day-to-day engineering activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Senior Site Engineer Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day engineering delivery of water treatment and associated civil engineering works.
